Many deadly conditions can be prevented, treated or efficiently managed if detected early. To reduce preventable morbidity and mortality, SANMINIT, in collaboration with Medics Specialist Hospital (MSH), Osogbo Professionals Association (OPA) and Omoniyi Yakubu Adebisi Foundation (OYAF), is organizing a free capacity enhancement training of maternity healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO®) and a free medical mission focusing on screening for common conditions that can be effectively managed if detected early. These conditions include Hypertension, Diabetes, Colon Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Prostate Diseases, etc.

Provider ALSO® Course candidates can apply at https://sanminit.org/apply_provider_course_candidate.php. Please note that our ALSO® training program is based on a bilateral agreement between the ALSO® Department of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and SANMINIT to run ALSO® and BLSO® courses in Nigeria. Successful candidates shall be issued certificates that can easily be verified online.
