SANMINIT (Save Nigerian Mothers Initiatives) is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality in Nigeria through high-quality training, capacity building, and international collaboration.
Our vision is a Nigeria where every pregnant woman receives safe, evidence-based care and every healthcare professional is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to save lives.
SANMINIT is proud to collaborate with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) to deliver the globally recognized ALSO and BLSO programs in Nigeria.
These programs equip doctors, nurses, midwives, and other maternity caregivers with critical, life-saving skills to manage obstetric emergencies effectively.
For more than a decade, our team has trained healthcare professionals across various states in Nigeria, resulting in improved preparedness, confidence, and clinical outcomes in maternity settings.
Each training session is evidence-based, hands-on, and tailored to the realities of Nigerian healthcare systems.
SANMINIT continues to expand its reach through new training centers, more ALSO/BLSO instructors, digital learning platforms, and stronger partnerships.
Our goal is to train thousands more healthcare workers and significantly improve maternal outcomes nationwide.
Whether you are a healthcare provider, donor, volunteer, or partner organization, you can play a vital role in saving the lives of mothers and newborns.
